Why are my events not being saved so I can retrieve them. I have an additional storage in my unit but now I can only go back within 4 to 5 days my events are no longer available after 4 days
Try put a usb stick in back of homebase
do you have a hard drive installed or are you using the built in storage? If either is full any new events will overwrite older stored events. If you want to save a particular event tap the “favorite “ tab and it won’t or shouldn’t get deleted.
if it’s not this maybe your hard drive is getting old. The USB drive on the back is a storage option to archive videos you want to keep
Ensure the chip is installed properly
I had a HDD that the Homebase 3 would not accept, but was working fine elsewhere. Errors on drives can impact the recording. Easy to slot in the drives in the HB3.
