Likely set to stop recording when motion ends. You can change the length of your event recording up to 2 minutes and turn off the stop recording when motion ends in the setting.

I agree. I Don’t have a s220 but an S330 and that’s the way my setting work as well. Quite a distance away as well. Probably wouldn’t even get an Event notice at night.
