Why is the Eufy floodlight camera recording only between 7:00 a.m. to about midnight? I checked my settings, and I don’t understand why it stops recording. It does alert me to something out there, but not recording.

did you look at a schedule setting? My only guess is somehow a custom schedule got set up. Maybe customer support can answer this. I find it best to call for answers emails always seem to get pushed to someone else and don’t get answered. If you do call you might be on hold for awhile but after a few minutes a prompt will come on “do you want us to call you back?” and they always have for me better than listening to there terrible on hold music lol
The camera can be set to different security modes (e.g., Home, Away, Disarmed) based on a schedule.
If the camera is set to “Disarmed” during certain hours, it won’t record events. To verify and adjust your schedule.
- Open the Eufy Security app.
- Navigate to the Security tab.
- Tap the gear icon next to Schedule.
- Review the time slots to ensure the camera isn’t set to “Disarmed” during the hours in question.
