Wireless doorbe

Wireless doorbell not connecting to chime. I had it connected but removed it and try connecting it again as the camera loading time was very long. But when press the sync on the doorbell it lights up but no beep - still doesn’t connect. Yes the chime is on my WiFi network. Yes, the doorbell is charged. Yes there is a SD card in the chime. Yes I tried to plug out both chime and let the doorbell die and try again. I’ve had this for nearly 3 months and it’s not working. Please help, I’ve tried everything - I’ve just put in a warranty request thing.

Try starting over again, remove the doorbell from the app and also the Wi-Fi chime.
On the doorbell hold the sync button down for 10 seconds to reset it.
Plug the Wi-Fi chime into an outlet and add it to the app first after setup follow the procedures to add the doorbell.

I’ve done exactly that twice as well as delete and uninstall the app completely. When I try to add the doorbell first it always directs me to add the chime. Did all the steps, still nothing unfortunately. I’ve contacted the warranty service and they’ll provide an exchange so I’ll try again with that. Thank you for your help!

Well I bought on the 24th, arrived on the 25th, put up on the 26th; I didn’t purchase a rainproof guard thing so maybe I thought it was the rain

I have that same doorbell, which I purchased almost 4 years ago. This doorbell has performed very well for me over the years, out of the other 5 eufy cameras I own which occasionally has issues where I need to resync them back to the app.

With all due respect, that’s you. I had tried everything and when you said resync I did atlest 4 times if not 5. If my chime can’t find the doorbell it’s not my fault. I didn’t only resync the doorbell but also the chime. The app would only ever allow me to add the chime first, when I did I’d click sync on the doorbell and wait for a beep, there was no beep it just lit up. So I did that a few times, nothing! Then I let the doorbell die to try again to let it “restart” nothing. If I’ve asked for help and I’ve not managed to achieve my goal, the next common sense thing to do is contact eufy. Thank you for your replies, I hope the replacement they send has the beep sound and is found on my chime.

Did I forget to mention, they were completely off the app too for your information - I add to add them both on, the whole reason I couldn’t get the doorbell to sync unfortunately

My last post wasn’t intended to be negative… was merely stating that you purchased a good doorbell camera as I am pleased with the performance of it.

I apologise also. Thank you. Yesterday the replacement came, they sent a whole new one, I did ask to send back the old chime but they didn’t need it. I did everything like I did the first time round when setting up the doorbell and the doorbell made a beep sound and connected. I’m soo glad it works now, but when people come sometimes it doesn’t video it. Or when people who cover their faces and bang on our doors then run it doesn’t capture that which I’m a little upset about. The whole reason I purchased was for the harassment that’s going on. My house is located away from direct sunlight so anything with solar panels would be a no go and I would rather avoid any with wires and connecting inside the home. Do you have any wireless alternatives or easy and simple setting up cameras that work 24/7 and record all please; is a good reasonable price. Any company is fine as you’re more of an expert in this rather than me!
