Issue with Eufy Security Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Chime

I recently purchased the Eufy Security Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Kit 1080p-Grade and I’ve been experiencing an issue where the doorbell chime doesn’t ring when someone rings the doorbell. The only solution that seems to work temporarily is unplugging the chime and plugging it back in, which allows it to connect properly to the doorbell and work for a few days before the issue arises again.

I was wondering if anyone in the forum has experienced a similar problem and if they were able to find a permanent solution to fix it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t had a problem like that but, when you do experience that issue does the App home screen - view of the door bell camera states it’s offline?

the app is online and works fine, I am able to check the view who is outside normally. its just the recording and the chime that doesn’t work (I am guessing the sensor?).

Go into the settings for the Doorbell & the Wi-Fi Chime.
Tap on General ~ About Device ~ Check for firmware update.
See if any are available…
Other than that you may just need to move the Wi-Fi Chime a bit closer to the doorbell while still keeping a good connection with your home’s Wi-Fi.
