2 indoor pan and tilt V2 Indoor cam 2k both failed on same day

Hi i have several eufy products.

2 indoor pan and tilt V2 Indoor cam 2k both failed on same day
The other day two eufy cameras went offline overnight.

I have tried to set them up again, which is what i usually do.

wifi is 2.4Ghz and working as expected password verified.

I have two separate wifi 2.4Ghz access points, i tried both but no difference.

They fail to connect to the wifi.
Its almost like both of them no longer have wifi antenna’s - they dont find any wifi SSID in the drop down list and manual entry is not working (with correct password)

The camera says “Connecting to the wifi” but then doesnt connect.

I also notice i do not have a blue light on the front.it is either blue_red looking (aka purple /pink or missing)

If i place the camera in a dark area the red infra lights come on. so it has power.
It does beep when i press reset button on the back

Both of these cameras are inside the house and i dont understand how they would both fail at once.
Some auto update broke wifi transmission/reception/antenna?
These have been working fine since i purchased them and now both stopped.

I have 5 other cameras all working without issue.

actually. this started quite quickly after updating the application. within a couple of days these two both went offline. and another seems to no longer be working either

Do you have a homebase? If you do did you re add them to the homebase? I had to do that recently after an update

thats the issue. will not find any wifi or homebase to connect too.

Its like they are blacklisted or someone ripped out the network wifi chip. only bluetooth works

Same issue with the app update they pushed. Only way past it that I can find is a full reset of the camera (look up how) and start fresh to get the blue light. They need to fix what they broke

ok and thats where i am stuck. The reset button on these is an easily accessible lever button. There is no pinhole button requiring any pointed tool.
I asked support how to factory reset, and they said hold that reset for 10s. I still get no blue light.
I want to FR them, but i dont think this is the thing to do it, yet there is nowhere else to reflash them or reset them

Try quick pressing the reset/sync button five times in 3 seconds, that might power off the camera, then unplug the power cord, wait 5 minutes then plug it back in and try to add the camera back to the app.

What works for me is holding for 10 secs then after the beep give it a minute or 2 then unplug it. Once it turns back on if it doesn’t go to a solid blue then I do it over again until I get the solid blue. It’s ridiculous but it gets the camera working again. They need to hurry up and push an update to fix what they broke

I have the same issue and can’t complete initial setup because camera doesn’t find any wifi network. Were you able to find a solution? Thanks

I got the lawn mower and 6 cams

Yes i have two homebase units

There is just no wifi - i cant connect them to anything but the phone on bluetooth then get to the wifi setup, no SID’s found, and if i enter it manually, i get failed to connect to the wifi

No not yet, and i am wondering if its the new app that is failing and not the camera. i was just thinking, this new app update happened around the same time.

I tried this, but have been unsuccessful - i have two paperweights now :frowning:
And no camera coverage inside my garage.
I will have to grab my spare solar one and put that inside and usb charge it - sigh.

Don’t know if this might help:
Try to turn off the firewall setting on the router. Make sure the following ports are open: TCP:12306, 12308, UDP:32099, 32100, 32101, 32102, 32132.
Hold the “SYNC” button for 10 seconds to reset the camera, then wait for a few minutes to start the setup process again.
Return to step 3 to check your WiFi settings, then scan the QR code again.
If the issue persists, please enable HotSpot on your phone and make the camera connect to your hotspot to see if it works: Device Tab>“…” icon> “Gear” icon> Camera Settings>General> Wi-Fi Connection> Change Wi-Fi*

It is the app they did three updates one in February 2025 and two in March 2025 none of them are any good cameras slow to notify. Slow to open app and Etc

Do not use any instructions from App support it’s all a waste of time issue is with app has been for over 2 months

Do not use instructions from support it is an app issue and they know that

I have tried using wifi hotspot on my phone. it also is not found when scanning, and fails to connect when manually entering SID and password. I am starting to agree this is not the cams but the app. how can we revert the app to the previous version

that is interesting, as within 1 or two days of these ones losing wifi altogether, i also have a wall light camera that will not come online. I can usb power the device and configure the wifi without issue, but then when i try and wall mount it to mains power - its ‘offline’

like the mains power wifi is ‘gone’

sigh
