Anyone else hav

This one is a replacement for the previous on in the same stop that died. Solar panels on ROOF work fine there. WTH with the camera panel?

need to be direct under the sun at least for a few hours

I only had this issue once and that was 2 days ago. Mine has been up for over a year with no problems. I restarted my camera and boom it was fixed🤷🏽‍♂️

Same problem…I have 2 new (bought in July 2024) S 340 cameras. They never charged to 100 % in summer and now they don’t charge at all. We’ve tried repositioning solar panels numerous times. Nothing helps. Sun is hitting solar panels directly.

I’m in sunny California and it barely charges. Can never add 1 percent. Even my old Arlo camera charges on cloudy days.

10 days of usage and 7/10 sunny days and not even 1 percent charge.

since it’s less sunlight hours how much charge does everyone get to charge (increase) per day?

Me, on cloudy weeks were they don’t get to much sunlight… one of my other issues is my S340 gets a littke sensitive to the conditions I have at hand…
I live off a busy street that constantly sets off the detection on it…

You guys can run either net cables to them with USB adapters to keep them charged during the winter… I just bought some…
I’ll keep you guys posted… you can get all that shxx pretty affordable on ebay…

No. Eufy battery/solar security camera.

You can get all that stuff cheep on ebay… Amazon or what have you… probably even at harbor freight…

Ya the cameras have a USB plug in you can use to charge it with… now with that being said you’d have to protect you wires with black tape from the weather…
You’d probably only have to charge it once and awhile…

YeH that’s why I posted those pictures now it’s just a temporary solution…
They have bigger aftermarket solar panels you can use to charge them they even come with linger cable’s so you can position it ìn an optimal position that will get more sun…

The purpose of getting this camera for me is to not run any wires and hoping it can charge a few percent a day at a least. It’s disappointing that it can’t even do that.

Same. If I wanted wires I’d buy the wired versions. I don’t mind having to charge them if they charging with solar but slowly but feels like they not charging at all

I bought a solar panel on Amazon for $23 that works with Eufy. I plugged it into my camera that has the built in panel on top. Everything working fine now. Placed it away from camera with better position toward sun.

well, every winter season the solar camera can’t get charged . I should take them down and charge them every couple days

I’m having the same problem

I don’t expect them to charge 100% but enough charge so they drain but not as quick. Then when summer comes round it can charge them back up to 100%
