Anyone have any tips or advicd on how to not get the device to turn on the spotlight repeatedly at night?
It’s as if a bug or (I swear!) even the visual effect of its own spotlight triggers an alert that a human has been detected. This essentially happens ad nauseum.
I don’t have a homebase and I followed the tips on setting it up in the optimal areas..
I end up just muting notifications and letting the bugs and grass around my backyard party it up with the epileptic strobe light all night. Fortunately it doesn’t seem to be killing the battery much/at all.

If you don’t want the spot light on the camera to come on for motion detection tap on smart tab bottom of home screen, tap on home base then go to your camera and toggle off camera alarm. I will do a follow up screen shot in a little bit

Only way I know is to turn it off for motion detection. To do that tap on the smart tab at bottom of home screen on the next screen make sure it is on “modes” then tap on home base if you don’t have a homebase then your camera should be listed tap on it that will bring you to the home and away settings there tap on gear icon then your camera again and you will see settings for turning on or off the light, alarm, etc. I will try to load a couple screen shots.
