Anyone have any

Anyone have any tips or advicd on how to not get the device to turn on the spotlight repeatedly at night?

It’s as if a bug or (I swear!) even the visual effect of its own spotlight triggers an alert that a human has been detected. This essentially happens ad nauseum.

I don’t have a homebase and I followed the tips on setting it up in the optimal areas..

I end up just muting notifications and letting the bugs and grass around my backyard party it up with the epileptic strobe light all night. Fortunately it doesn’t seem to be killing the battery much/at all.

What type of camera model do you have?

Had the same issue! Try reducing motion sensitivity, adjusting the camera angle, and setting activity zones to avoid bugs triggering it. Some users say using a Solar micro inverter gives more stable power, which can help reduce false alerts. Hope that helps!
