I have the 2c pro , 3 cameras. Today 1 of the 3 cameras kept giving the error message cant connect to home base with the error code -204. Out of the 3 cameras, this is the 2nd furthest away from the base… So the further away camera was still connecting… My home isnt that big so all of the cameras arent too far from the base… I had to take camera down reset it then delete it and re sync it to my system to finally get it back online…
Any other options that we can do to fix this ?
Sometimes a camera can reattach if you just reboot the homebase. Hitting refresh on the dead camera almost never works. Getting that homebase set just right to keep fringe cameras online is tough. I have 2 WAY out…. Even moving the base 1 inch will drop both. I have my base up 2 inches and tape around it so I can realign if it gets bumped. Also… don’t forget to try setting the homebase on Wi-Fi (instead of Ethernet cable) and move it around a bit to see if you can get a better connection. Test…test… then test some more. Good luck
