Choppy playback


Hi All,

I’m experiencing choppy playback on video clips from all my eufy cameras, and I’m struggling to figure out why. I’m using the HomeBase 3, and my Wi-Fi speeds are over 700 Mbps (up and down), so I’m confident the network isn’t the issue. All cameras show full signal strength.

I’ve rebooted the cameras and the HomeBase 3 multiple times, but the problem persists. Even with the video quality set to “Auto” instead of 4K, playback is still choppy.

A friend of mine advised me against eufy for this very reason, but I assumed their issue was due to poor Wi-Fi. Now I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something or if there’s an underlying issue with my setup.

Has anyone else faced this? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, you may have a good Wi-Fi signal to your cameras and HomeBase, so there may be some interference that’s causing the choppy video playback.
Like some nearby Wi-Fi that’s using the same channel as your Wi-Fi router is using.

I would try restarting / rebooting your home’s Wi-Fi router to see if it improves.
