Nope same here

I have a small piece of wood mounted slightly above the camera lens. It acts as a little roof from the weather

Anti- glare I believe

get a filter you can stick on top of the lens (look for “anti-glare filter” or “neutral filter”)

Hood or try angling it slightly. Probably best to relocate it to a corner which will also work better for movement detection

Camera lens Hood maybe

It really should be how you could change your camera to reduce the glare, not the other way around

I think it’s a matter of finding the right height to be able to angle it down enough to avoid the glare. You could also try lowering it or turning it left or right to avoid the glare. But remember, the angle of the sun will vary with the season, so I suspect this may be an occasional, ongoing adjustment.

Good question

This help without putting something up. In app, open that camera’s settings. Tap on video settings, then privacy zone. Tap on plus symbol. Create a zone, in that spot. It will be a black box when you do. Then click on checkmark to save. It will not record in that area. The glare can still have an effect on the camera. If the are using motion detection activity zones make sure you don’t have a zone overlaying this privacy zone. I use the privacy to block out a neighbor’s outside pole light.

Or just point it down a little bit where the sun is never in the image, or get a sun visor for it

Here is what I did.
Keep in mind the zone will be in the picture day and night.
The light on the pole was causing issue with the camera’s night vision. It is much better with the zone. Putting up an object to block it was not feasible and my neighbor was not going to turn the light off. Actually she and her mother tried to sue me for putting up a camera that pointed at their house and property. They would toss trash in my yard when we where gone and come into the yard and walk around the my house and cut limbs out my trees. I put the camera’s up one day when they were gone on a weekend trip and caught them a few days later. Had the sheriff come out and gave them a fine for trespassing and destruction of private property.
