Does anyone know if it is possible to move cameras and videos from one HB3 to another? I have looked all through the app and cannot find a way to do it. I had just one HB3 but the cameras furthest away from it had very weak connections to it. I added a second HB3 about 50 foot closer to the far cameras and wanted to move them and their videos to the tank 2nd HB3. Only way I have found to far is to delete the cameras from the origonal HB3 and add the back to the new one, but that looses the precious videos. And I don’t want to climb a ladder to move all 8 cameras manually, loosing all the video in the process. Both HB3’s ane in the same “home” in the app. Thanks for any insight anyone could provide.

I am pretty sure that is the only way. If videos are already on the hard drive or storage of the 1st home base I would assume they would stay there until overwritten or manually erased. If you don’t want to lose them save them to your phone or put a thumb drive into slot 1 on the back of home base and archive videos to it then you can view them on a computer or get a card reader adapter for your phone I bought a adapter from Amazon you might need to download a free application to help convert the videos so you can view them on phone that’s what I did.the app is VLC media.

I know that you have to install the second HB3 to the first and then you SHOULD be be able to move cameras and supposedly video to the new one. Not certain it’s going to work, since when I moved from HB2 to 3, I had to manually add the cameras and the videos from those few weeks are still locked in HB2 and I can’t access them…

There has to be some simple way to do this??
In the homepage tap on your Home ↓
Then select all devices
Then tap on Manage and see if there are any options transfer cameras to another homebase.

You might need to remove the new homebase and then possibly add it as another home… I don’t know.

Thanks everyone. I dug around everywhere possible and found no way to move to a second HB3. When I moved from the HB2 to the first HB3, there was an automatic popup every time I opened the app asking which cameras and videos I wanted to move from the HB2 to the HB3… no such luck with adding a second HB3. Thankfully there was not really anything I “needed” to save in the videos. It was a PITA having to climb the ladder and rescan every QR code to add the cameras to the second HB3 after deleting them from the first HB3. Hey Eufy… this would be a good value add if you were to make this possible in future firmware/app updates. :slight_smile:
