got the doorbell with parcel detect, and homebase 2 connected, tried going to portal to view recordings? nothing there, seems you have to subscribe? bought the items so i did not need a subscription service, can view on the app on my samsung, i thought it would go to live view when opened but not, i have to tap screen, for it to go live, alerts are crap always delayed, but ive made my bed so have to lie in it till i can afford something better, should have reviewed it more, now aall i see is complaints about it (doorbell) and no viewing on the portal, just constant trying to find secure channel, im dissapointed with it, and still trying to find a way to view online, and how to download videos from different dates, hope someone can come up with some or any advice on this, thanks for your time

Ok? The reason you have to tap on the camera in the app is because you can have multiple different cameras so you need to pick which one. Mine go to live only a few seconds after tapping on the device almost every time if WiFi is good. sometimes it can be a little slower. Notifications on iPhone are usually only a few seconds it all depends on what your settings are with thumbnails take longer. And for the portal I’ve never seen anything about having to pay for a subscription to view live, sometimes they try to upsell you for a monitoring but you don’t have to. Maybe something changed I will have to look later.
