Eufy Entry Sensor bracket for garage door

Hi all,
I just recently switched from Brinks to Eufy due to lower cost long term and no contract. So far it’s a one for one replacement for functionality and visibility. the app works great and the sensors are super easy to setup with Hombase3 and install at the doors.

The only negative I found is that the entry sensor did not work with my automatic garage door. Not Eufy’s fault at all but I was hoping it would just work. No go, the magnet kept hitting the lift cable. bummer.

While googling I found a lone Etsy shop that 3D prints such a bracket for all types of DIY entry sensors, including Eufy. Sweet!, I ordered it right away and it worked perfectly.

It would be great to see Eufy/Anker include something similar in their Entry Sensor packages since it’s cheap to make. It could be a $5.00 add-on when ordering a Eufy Sensor.

Fingers crossed they see this and implement it.

Eufy used to make a garage door control camera which I have, that sensors on the door let you know when the door opens or closed and stores video on a SD card. it works great and video is clear only minor negative thing is it doesn’t connect to a home base it uses wifi only. You can also open and close the door from the app. Not sure why they discontinued it but I have seen some available on ebay in the past new and used. But there has got to be a way to mount the sensor to trigger your camera maybe at the top of the door out of the way of moving parts as a electrician that’s where we sometimes mount burglar alarm sensors.
