This does not work!
I read that this happens more so does anyone has the solution yet?
Because all the devices are useless now!
It seems like your Eufy HomeBase 2 is experiencing a common issue where it keeps resetting itself. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your HomeBase 2 is running the latest firmware. You can check for updates in the Eufy Security app.
Power Cycle: Unplug the HomeBase 2 from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Sometimes a simple power cycle can resolve the issue.
Reset the HomeBase 2: Press and hold the reset button on the back of the HomeBase 2 for about 10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating that the device is resetting. Note that this will erase all your settings, so you’ll need to set it up again.
Check Network Connection: Ensure that your HomeBase 2 has a stable internet connection. If possible, connect it directly to your router using an Ethernet cable.
Contact Eufy Support: If the issue persists, it might be a hardware problem. Reach out to Eufy customer support for further assistance. Some users have reported that their HomeBase 2 units were defective and needed replacement2.
I hope one of these steps helps you get your HomeBase 2 back on track! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
I have the same issue. My Homebase2 is in a constant reset loop. All versions are up to date and it happens even that during the setup the Homebase2 is already going to reset. and can’t even get to configure a device like my doorbell. All problems started after the Homebase 2 Firmware update of 2/24. The system was stable before the update. It is a pain and Eufy Support came back today that there was a bug with the Mobile Android 5.0.30 APP version, which totally does not make any sense. i.e. When I plugin the Homebase I do not even have to use my mobile app for the Homebase to already reset after minutes.
HomeBase 2 with four 2C cameras keeps losing devices after a few hours or days.
This seems like an obvious software or app issue, and it’s a quick way to lose customers. The market today is much more competitive than it was a few years ago, back when Eufy stood out as one of the best.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a change in management. now Eufy feels like just another ordinary company.
