I set up my new Eufy Indoor Cam C220 (three units) today and successfully got everything working in the app.
However, when attempting to connect my Eufy Indoor Cam C220’s to my HomeBase 3 (Ethernet connected), I noticed that the “HomeBase Connection” option does not appear in the camera settings within the app.
“However, we would like to inform you that our technical team has confirmed that the batch of products you have is not yet compatible with the Homebase 3”
What makes this batch different to other batches that are able to connect to Home Base 3?
Here’s the final update from Eufy Support - “After consulting with our development team, I regret to inform you that there are no plans to release a firmware update to make the T8W11T batch compatible with Homebase 3.”
Long story short - the model of C220 sold in Australia “T8W11T” is not and will not be compatible with HomeBase3.
Overseas models of the C220 have the part number T8W11C - these are the ones that are compatible with HomeBase3.
