Pairing E220 indoor camera with HomeBase 380

How I finally paired my Indoor Cam E220 (T8410) with HomeBase 3 / S380 (“380”)

I ran into the same confusion a lot of people have had. The setup wizard kept telling me:

  • Connect to Wi-Fi
  • No SD card detected
  • Mount the camera

At that point, it looked like the E220 couldn’t be linked to HomeBase 3. But here’s what actually worked:

  1. Finish the basic setup so the camera is on Wi-Fi and you can see the live feed in the Eufy app.
  2. Go to the gear icon → Settings → Edge Connection.
  3. From there, choose HomeBase 3 (S380) and it will pair.

Now my E220 records to HomeBase storage.

Key points:

  • HomeBase 3 = S380 = “HomeBase 380” (different names, same hub).
  • The E220 is storage-compatible (automation still listed as “under evaluation”).
  • Don’t get hung up on the SD card warning during setup — just complete Wi-Fi setup, then connect via Edge Connection afterward.
