Eufy S340 losing connection

I have a Eufy Doorbell and S230, which have been working great with my home base S380 for about 2 years. After some incidents in the neighbourhood, I ordered an S340 to keep an eye on my cars. The camera is located on my neighbour’s house across from my driveway, so a little further away from my house. The signal strength to the home base was unfortunately too weak (I cannot move the home base, as otherwise my other camera in my garden probably loses connection).
The WiFi signal from my house is great where the camera is located, but after a few hours, the camera no longer had a connection and would also not reconnect.

After trying for about a week, we connected the camera to my neighbour’s WiFi instead yesterday. His router is located inside, more or less directly behind the camera, and the signal strength appears to be good. However, after less than an hour of the camera working as expected, it disconnected again and has not come back online since.

Is it possible that the camera is broken? It seems odd that it connects fine, shows a full signal, but then disconnects, never to be seen again.
What options do you think I have?

It sounds as though the camera does have a Wi-Fi connection issue…
You don’t have it connected to the HomeBase.
You tried with your homes Wi-Fi and then also with your neighbors Wi-Fi and both connections were lost after a few hours, even if the Wi-Fi connection is lost it should have auto reconnected eventually.
I would return it and get a replacement to see if the issue persists.

I have same issue & now S340 must be no further than 10 feet from Router or Homebase to get a signal. Anker replaced my original Camera after numerous emails w/Support. The new S340 received worked as-expected for not even 48 hours…BUT after they pushed same firmware update as my old one it now suffers from the same/identical issue.
Now after 2 months of ridiculous back & forth emails with their (alleged) Tech Support (who only asked me to check/recheck same settings), they have now walked away & refuse to do anything except offer me 10% discount to buy yet another Camera. My belief is firmware damaged the WiFi hardware & they refuse to own-up to their mistakes. What a sad Company. Do not buy anything from Anker.
