Eufy S340 - None Stop Motion Detection

I currently utilize a Eufy setup with two S330’s along with one S340 with the included homebase 3. My S340 has 158 Workings Days , 61185 Detected Evets & 12500 Recorded Events, at first the S340 was doing very well and i was impressed but over the last two months something has changed with the camera assuming that it was a software update.

I have my activity zones setup and the camera facing the driveway at the correct measurements eufy recommends. But there has been an insane amount of motion detected at night and when reviewing the clips of the recorded motion only events it keeps grabbing vehicle headlights at night. I have tried setting up the camera settings to have the IR , Light or no light showing and it still is detecting just about every vehicle that passes by in a certain area.

I only have Human Recognition , Human Detection and Pet Detection enabled on this device with a sensitivity rate of 4. With reaching out to support has caused no real solution as each recommended tip provided has not worked, and this has only started happening two months ago and its causing the battery to drain overnight and i would need to charge the camera every 3 - 4 days.

My two S330 cameras that are positioned more towards the road do not have these detections trigger. Is there any of solution for the issue that i am having or suggestions?

Auhh man I wish I could give some kind suggestion.
Mine dies the same thing… set up activity zones… at night time it picks up all motions… try reducing the sensitivity down to three and then turn it back up in the morning…
I’ve had to luve wire mine to keep running…

I like the cam great picture, Ai tracking works pretty good, but the detections go haywire at nite… mines mounted real high though, so I was thinking, that might be the problem with mine…
But I don’t know though… I’m don’t really worry about it as I have a one TB SSD drive in my HB3 so it don’t even phase the storage…
To better manage your events, you can tap the device/S340 your havi g issues with and hit delete all and just save the events you want to save and allow the the rest to delte… it shouldn’t be that hard since your only filtering through one device…

Drop the sensitivity down to 1 and see what it does. It is likely to be a software update has made it much more sensitive and better at detection…
