It does not illuminate at all if hardwired like mine.

I just hardwired my doorbell and blue ring is still working, though it could stay on a bit longer, say untill the button is pressed.
Strange, maybe there is not a software but a hardware problem with mine??
Although the blue ring pulses when installing???

I have the 1080p Grade battery doorbell with Wi-Fi chime. Not hardwire capable. The ring illuminates just a bit over 5 seconds, yes a little longer would be preferred.
One thing I have noticed, is when it detects movement that’s non-human the ring does not illuminate. Which is a good thing.

I recieved the new doorbell from the store and thisone does it!
Blue ring illuminate when motion is detected, even in daylight.
