Why is the blue ring around the push button of my e340 not lighting up. Not even when movement is detected!
Now no one can see the push button in the dark. It is a black push button in a black housing.
I think that blue ring should light up regardless of the settings. People at the door should be able to push the bell button. Even during the day!

It’s supposed to light up when it detects movement or when the button is pressed.
Look for a setting that says… Status LED
It can be toggled
That’s the problem, it doesn’t light up with movement. And if it only lights up when pressed, it’s way too late. The button has to be found in the dark first.

Try toggling off the status LED. Switch it off and then switch it back on maybe something just didn’t take.
I had turned Status-led off and on several times, without result. But this time it worked. My problem is solved. 
I had similar issue with this blue ring light not coming on no matter what. I toggled the Status-LED option on/off a few times still no luck. Then I submitted a ticket to Eufy. During the Eufy investigation, an Eufy app update happened in 8/20/2025. Then Eufy support team emailed me to toggle the Status-LED a few times. After that the blue ring light worked as expected - when motion was detected, regardless day or night. It was good that hardware was fine all along, just the software control had some issue.
