Hi there, within the last few weeks I have noticed that my 1080p door bell is lagging when alerting me and taking more moving to wake it up, however more worryingly I’ve noticed that events from my doorbell stay within the events for around 15-20 minutes and then they mysteriously disappear. I have tried to format the SD card, restarted everything, tried a new SD card but this still keeps happening.
I also have the SoloCam S40 which is working fine and all the events for that are staying within the app. Has anyone else experienced this and can help please?
Also I have just noticed that when I format the SD card it isn’t actually deleting any footage and the remaining GB is staying the same.

That’s quite mysterious as to what’s going on with your doorbell, also the chime events disappearing though the SD card still shows some percentage used.
How old is the doorbell system?
Are you using the new app?
It’s around 4 years old and I updated the version a few days ago when I noticed the issue. It’s currently on version 5.0.21. Still the same thing happening, I get the alert, the event records and shows in my events and then disappears 15-20 mins later.
I’ve raised an issue with the Dufy technical team but still waiting to hear back from them.

Yes, I believe that is the one. Still waiting to hear back from Eufy about this issues I’m experiencing. Also the SD card still won’t format, says it’s successfully but still shows 70GB used out of 120GB
Thanks, may need to buy another at this rate, although I’m unsure what the issue is. I could be the doorbell, or the chime, or the app potentially? Won’t be buying another until I know what the issue is.

Check ebay, I bought one for $35… You might not be able to find another one at that price , bit you should be able to find on at a reasonable price…
And I’ll double check for you to, bit a lot of times, for what ever reason, they only have one at that price… meaning that low… mostly do to they need to make a quick sale because they need the money… But some times they got a whole bunch of what ever they’re sailing… Overstock and what not…
But ya, that’s were I get all my shxx… Say theirs been sometimes I had canceled sales and even onetime I had to report it to ebay because they never sent it…
Most of the time they provide tracking, bit you want to keep an eye on that… I’ve bought all kinds of stuff on there and only had one shady deal, but after reporting it to ebay I was immediately refunded…and that was on one of the cameras I paid for from Eufy… It all about the buyer as far as ebay and more so, pay pal, so any issues you might have just report it…
But like I said it’s a pretty good place to shop…
Say it looks like the lowest your goi g to find brand new, free shipping is going to be around 50 bucks…
But ya that might just be the SD card m, but the odd thing is you put another one in…
Now are the SD cards brand new or refurbished… and I think I recall you said sand disk…?
