Geofencing problems, appears to happen at a regular time

We’ve been having a frustrating time trying to get geofencing with a Homebase 3 to work consistently for months now. We’re both using Verizon iPhone’s and both phones are setup to allow Eufy location always, with precise location selected, and using the large radius option.

What we’ve noticed is 2-3 days a week, usually around lunch time, the cameras will turn on, even if we are both home. When I log into the Eufy app in devices it shows the status as “I’m Home”, but the cameras are on. When I go to the Security tab the Homebase 3 is listed as in geofencing mode, and when I click on it, it will list us as in away mode, usually because it’s unable to locate one phone or the other. If I try and manually set the mode to home/away it does not respond and the cameras remain on. However, as soon as I restart the Eufy app, the cameras turn off and figure it out.

It’s extremely frustrating esp. since there’s no other option to manage the cameras with geofencing. I’ve tried resetting the homebase, resetting the app, deleting the app and starting over, adding all the cameras again etc. I’ve even went into my router logs to see if something is going on with the internet access and haven’t found anything that suggests the internet is dropping out.

Just thought I’d see if others have ran into this and if they found any fixes? I was hoping that I could add the homebase 3 to homekit/Home App and control geofencing that way, but it doesn’t appear to have that functionality, in addition while I can get Homebase 3 to show up in the Home App none of my cameras show up (s350, s330, 2C pro).
