Goodbye Old Cam. Hello Hybrid Security.

Farewell, S350. You’ve seen me at my best, my worst, and probably way too many snack runs at 2 a.m. Thanks for catching the neighbor’s cat pissing on our porch, delivery folks hurling packages like they’re training for the big leagues, and every terrible angle of my figure imaginable. Enjoy your retirement!
I hope to upgrade you to the new S4 model, where I can have an even clearer constant judging LED eye (or 2) scoping out my porch. With better weather resistant capabilities. That way I can catch my both neighbors reaction and my absurdly cartoonish falls down my porch stairs!

Make sure motion is turned on all the cameras from all the devices you use to view them. I had a similar incident where some cameras weren’t recording no matter what I did. I was checking the settings through my spare tablet and noticed the motion was turned off on that camera even though my phones, etc showed motion was on. One I turned that on it all worked again

Hello all. I have 2 eufy cam-3 cameras and the E340 Doorbell.
the main problem for me is i have a detached house. And i realy need more coverage. As there has been acouple of local breakins and i have way to many blind spots. The new system would allow me to cover all 4 sides at once. Would be honoured to try the new system. And would even attemt to make a unbloxing video and review. Tho im no expert.

Well this older version thinks im my mother inlaw thinks my american flag is a pet i delete 100s of flag photos every week. I beyond annoyed by this issue with the flag

Looks like this tree-mounted camera has been keeping a watchful eye on your deliveries, unexpected guests, and the occasional deer photobomb! With its solar-powered setup, it’s been loyally snapping blurry memories of packages being dropped, doorbells rung by mysterious visitors, and deer doing their best impression of lawn ornaments. Sadly, those low-quality shots over the years have left us with more pixelated mysteries than clear evidence—time to upgrade to a sharper-eyed successor and leave the grainy nostalgia behind!

Thank you Eufy SoloCam S220 for keeping our home safe especially at night. Your 2K vision captured all the movements at night. When I do spot checks at night, I can see every detail of my home. I won’t worry about power because you are solar powered and you can watch our house 24/7 and for many years to come. I’m so excited that your Eufy family had announced the coming of the “EufyCam S4” the hybrid camera; combination of a bullet camera with 4K resolution and PTZ camera 2K resolution in one unit. It is also solar powered and uses 5.5 W Ultra large Solar panel. Also, this camera has the advance AI core superior to other camera brands. This camera’s bullet camera can monitor the critical areas and at the same time the PTZ track the moments by following them so every details are captured.

To my old friend Eufy Solocam S220, its not the end, you have excellent features but I know you will comeback in the future with superb quality just like your new family member the Eufycam S4.

Goodbye my Old Cam SoloCam S220, Hello Hybrid Security Camera EufyCam S4…!!!

I’m hoping to say goodbye to the WYZE Cam v1 that I have at my elderly grandparents home to watch over their driveway.

It’s a less than ideal setup causing performance issues with night vision, as well as requiring a subscription for some of the most lackluster AI detection available.

The S4 camera camera would be a tremendous upgrade for keeping track of the safety of my grandparents and their home. With color night vision and multi image recording, it would greatly expand the coverage and give me peace of mind knowing that the detection will be reliable. The PTZ tracking would be immensely helpful in the event anything happens.

I hope our family is considered for the camera as I’m a eufy fanboy and love all their products. We use them for our home cleaning, our bay monitoring and stat tracking, as well as our security. hoping my grandparents will love them as much as I do.

I’ve been piecing my security system together sale by sale. Currently I have two E340 floodlights one E340 Solo and a E340 doorbell. I’d love to replace my E340 solo with the S4 it would enhance the coverage on the opposite side of the house!!! One thing I’d like us to be able to watch a live feed from all the cameras at once…
Thanks for being great!!! :victory_hand:t5:

Spot the 3 cameras in the picture… I actually have 4 that are covering this area  2 s330’s, an S220 and a reolink. I would love to swap them all out for a camera that can do the work of all of them! I have a few other s330’s I would love to trade out for better coverage to! I always love testing out the latest and greatest and feeling protected around my house with no blind spots! Thanks for the chance!

Eufy for My Security Camera Ecosystem

When I first started building my home security setup, Eufy stood out from other brands for several key reasons:

No monthly subscriptions – One-time purchase, no ongoing fees.

Wireless camera options – Easy installation without messy wiring.

24/7 recording capabilities – Continuous monitoring for peace of mind.

Diverse product lineup – Including the floodlight, doorbell, Bullet 4K Pro, HomeBase, indoor 4K tracking cameras, and outdoor 2K cameras.

Cross-tracking functionality – A standout feature that enhances detection accuracy across devices.

After a few months of use, I noticed a significant drop in false positives, especially with my outdoor cameras. The AI-powered features have clearly improved detection accuracy and overall functionality.

That said, I do want to highlight a limitation: my Eufy S330 Floodlight doesn’t support integration with HomeBase AI or cross-tracking—two features I’ve come to really appreciate. While it still offers human and motion detection, newer models provide more advanced detection options and better compatibility.

The perfect addition to my camera ecosystem would be the stand-alone with all its features that would provide a better experience and surveillance footage, functionalities for me and my family.

Conclusion:
I’m definitely considering upgrading my floodlight to a newer model that supports the full range of AI and cross-device features. Eufy has done a great job evolving its ecosystem, and I’m excited to see what’s next.

I purchased one of the floodlight cameras, the quality is fantastic. Price was good, and not having to pay monthly fees is a great addition, the picture quality and the build quality is class.

I don’t have a old camera. I purchased a a eufy E340 video doorbell
I like it so much that I’m thinking of buying cameras from eufy now. Can I still enter?

We have a set of Arlo cameras that is so outdated that if we were to move and try to reconnect we would probably not be able to. They are obsolete and are past their end of life. They capture video only. No sound, no pan and tilt and no video half the time either. The eufycam S4 would be a major upgrade. I would like to use a set of cameras with a home base. It would be very difficult to run wires in our home so solar wireless cameras would be great. I have to climb a ladder to charge batteries every so often. It would be great to have a camera set that is powered by solar. I’m really looking forward to upgrading our home security cameras in the near future.

It’s time to say goodbye to the Ring doorbell and security cameras. The 1997 video quality with a subscription price will truly be missed. I am looking forward to upgrading to 4K quality of Eufy. I enjoy their products as I have a pet camera and vacuum that are great. I have contacted customer service several times, and they are always quick to provide service. I am glad their support isn’t 100% AI-driven.

My current camera works super well, hardly ever have to charge it because of the solar technology. Being a fixed position camera has its cons where I’m not able to track its surrounding. Having an S4 would greatly help capture the surroundings and has a microphone so I can communicate with my kids while they are in the back yard.

I’ve been trying my own clever ways to have solar powered battery cameras at home and as per my photo, it is basically an unknown branded battery camera and a cheap unknown 4w solar panel that I’ve connected together to provide me with a 24/7 battery powered camera, but unfortuntely the quality was realy bad and it disconnected more often that I would’ve hoped for.

I’m saying farewell to my old camera and HELLO EUFY!!! I need you in my life with all your clever AI features, hybrid camera setup, large solar panel and police lights! I can be rest assured and be sleeping peacefull at night if I can have these Eufy cams watching over my property 24/7.

Come on Eufy, make my day and protect my world!

Oh wait, I still need this! :joy:
with the UK winter drawing in, I want a bigger battery to draw from on those long frosty nights and short sometimes sunny days!
Change my mind that a battery / solar camera is worthwhile in the UK and that Eufy are the people to do it!

Farewell, S330, you have done great and deserve your retirement. Upgrading to the new Eufy S4 gives you smarter, sharper, and more proactive security. With a 4K wide-angle lens combined with dual 2K PTZ cameras, it can detect motion, zoom in, and follow subjects automatically (up to ~164 ft) for clearer detail and better tracking. Its solar-powered design (with fast charging) and local AI processing make it more self-sufficient—less reliance on cloud services, lower latency alerts, and fewer blind spots. Add in color night vision, smart alerts (reducing false alarms), and the promise of behavior-prediction AI in future updates—and the S4 looks like a meaningful leap forward in practical, next-generation home security.

It’s hard to say goodbye to my Eufy S330 Spotlight Camera. For the past three years, it’s been more than just a security device—it’s been my extra set of eyes, watching over my home and family day and night. I’ve loved it from the start and it’s been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Now, as the spotlight LEDs begin to fade, I feel like I’m losing a bit of that protection I’ve come to rely on. Winning a new one would mean continuing that sense of safety, comfort, and peace of mind that Eufy has always given me! Here’s to getting a new replacement from Eufu from this competition :grinning:
