The bad boy is tired, one of 4 and an S340 at my home. It’s said it’s tired by showing great solar charging in the dashboard while only running on battery, with none of the solar recharging it, anymore.
I understand, sometimes it’s a harsh world, and I aim to replace it and move it to a spot where I can run a USB cable to it and let it semi-retire on direct power. I owe it that. So I hope it’s not mad I have these thoughts, but we gotta look out for each other.
I don’t want it to think I’m enticed by the feature set and larger solar charging of the S4, I’m honestly looking out for my right side garage S3 as it deserves better. Not to say the S4 isn’t attractive, it is. But there is something to be said for respecting the things that get you where you are, you know? But it is pretty…
Farewell, EufyCam E! I would love the new eufyCam S4 because my current security camera has decided retirement means filming in 8‑bit Minecraft mode, only records raccoon dance‑offs, and freezes anytime someone suspicious approaches—basically, it’s a very expensive spider web monitor.
The S4 promises hybrid tri‑cam tracking, 4K zooms that actually catch license plates instead of potato blurs, and solar power, so I don’t have to climb a ladder every two weeks (or less these days) with tools in my teeth. Plus, if one lens nods off, another jumps in—like security tag‑team wrestling but with better night vision.
This little guy tried his best but is limited by the battery. Did it’s best to shine bright on the skunks, squarels, people, and cars that would pass by the driveway, but failed when needed most. My neighbor’s car got broken into and he askes if my camera got any video of the event. With it’s limited view and no ability to track it didn’t catch it…
Well seems a new hero is in town and he looks like he won’t miss a thing!
Time to say goodbye to the old Blink Camera which needs batteries to be changed ever so often. it’s basically the flip phone of home security at this point. The Eufy S4 solar camera is like giving your house a personal security guard who never sleeps, never eats, and literally runs on sunlight. No more climbing ladders to charge batteries, no more grainy footage where you can’t tell if that’s a burglar or just the neighbor’s cat.It pans, it tilts, it zooms, and best of all, it doesn’t demand a monthly paycheck like those cloud storage subscriptions.
My old camera has served me well, but it often struggles with what matters most. It misses important activity when motion happens outside its limited angle, and it can’t zoom or track moving subjects. Night vision is blurry, alerts are delayed, and I constantly worry about blind spots. Upgrading to the eufyCam S4 would give me peace of mind with its 24/7 coverage, smart alerts, and ability to monitor both directions seamlessly. It’s exactly the upgrade I need to protect my family, pets, and home.
A fond farewell to my loyal Blink XT. As you can see, it has gracefully retired from active security duty to become a thriving, multi-level sanctuary for the local spider population. While I admire its new purpose, my security standards have evolved beyond arachnid-based motion detection.
Upgrading to the eufyCam S4 would be revolutionary. The 4K resolution and color night vision mean I could finally see actual details, not just guess at shadowy figures. The integrated solar panel promises ‘forever power,’ which is a huge step up from ‘forever changing batteries.’ Most importantly, the AI detection could finally distinguish between an intruder and a particularly ambitious spider spinning its web. It’s time to bring my home security into this decade!
I hear Eufy cams are smarter than other brand cameras, which is the reason why I would like to upgrade which in return should make me smarter, right? I’ve used this Ring Stick Up camera with a gutter mount for a few years. After so many false notifications, blurry 1080p and horrible night vision, I feel I’m ready to step in the 2k and 4K world along with an AI companion to help me detect better and keep my house more secure. Besides the ugly look of the gutter mount, I’m sure the Eufy S4 will look sleek and great anywhere I place it due to it’s great design with the mounted solar. Out with the old. In with the New!
Farewell to the Ring devices I used to own. I will not miss your blurry footage or your ability to fail me every single time I actually needed you. I will not miss your inability to pan, tilt, or zoom. I won’t miss anything about you. Goodbye and good riddance! My trust is now with Eufy.
Over time I have been building what I like to call my own Eufy Empire, and the eufyCam S4 would be the crown jewel of that system. My plan is to keep adding more Eufy products until every inch of my home is protected. Safety has become one of the most important investments in my life, and Eufy has made it possible for me to feel truly secure.
Winning these cameras would give me more than just advanced technology. It would give me peace of mind and the freedom to live without constant worry. As a single woman who lives alone in a city where crime is a daily reality, security is not a luxury. It is a necessity. Every time I walk through my front door after dark, I want to know I am safe. Every time I leave for work or travel, I want reassurance that what I have worked so hard for is protected. And every night when I go to sleep, I want to rest without fear of what could happen outside my window.
These cameras would allow me to have that comfort. They would let me focus on living my life instead of looking over my shoulder. They would give confidence to know that whether I am home or away, I am protected.
I am grateful that Eufy creates products that put real safety and peace of mind within reach. Adding the eufyCam S4 to my system would bring me one step closer to my dream of having a fully protected home. It would not only support my safety but also allow me to live more freely, without fear holding me back.
With Eufy, I am not just protecting my home. I am building the freedom to live boldly, fearlessly, and without limits.
Aw man would I love you have a EufyCam S4. I’ve been eyeballling the Eify security cameras for some time now, but I already have a suite of cheapo supreme BluRams cameras both outside and inside. I’ve thought about getting a Eufy camera since I already have several Eufy products, just not security cameras. They’re a bit expensive, but I bet they work a heck of a lot better than the BluRam cameras. If I win one of these Eufy cameras, maybe it’ll push me over the edge to replace my other cameras! Cheers!!
Goodbye, old cam. You did your best, but let’s be real — blurry footage, slow alerts, and zero tracking just don’t cut it anymore. In a house with three kids, pets, and constant activity, I need a security system that works as hard as I do.
The eufyCam S4 is exactly what I’ve been looking for: HD clarity, auto-tracking, dual-direction coverage, and smarter alerts that actually help me respond fast. I’m not just upgrading for convenience — I’m upgrading for peace of mind, better protection, and a system that fits our lifestyle. This camera would be a game-changer for our home, and I’d put it to work immediately.
I’d like to upgrade to the eufyCam S4 from the S3 because the S4 offers enhanced video clarity, longer battery life, and smarter motion detection powered by improved AI technology. The upgraded connectivity and wider field of view ensure more reliable and complete home protection. It’s the perfect next step for better security and convenience.
Thank you, eufyCam S3, for providing dependable performance and keeping my home safe—you’ve served me well!
I’m looking forward to upgrading to the eufyCam S4. I like that it is solar powered, so that I can easily keep it running (with good sunlight exposure). I’m hoping that it is HomeKit connected, through the base unit, so that I can view the videos in HomeKit as well. It looks like a fantastic unit with all the zooming that it does.
You’ve served your time, but sadly, you never lived up to what I really needed. For years, I’ve dealt with countless stolen packages, frustrating claims, and the sinking feeling of watching blurry clips of thieves as they walked away—instead of catching them in the act. Your short recording window made you more of a decoration than real protection.
Now, it’s time for an upgrade. After installing a single eufy S340 camera on the corner of my house, the difference was night and day. The smart tracking followed an intruder from his car all the way to my porch, crazy good quality that was clear enough to capture his license plate, and gave me the evidence I needed to help the police to investigate which lead to an arrest. That one success showed me the power of real security—something you, unfortunately, could never deliver.
This is why I’m ready to go all-in on eufy all new S4 cameras. With full coverage of every blind spot, solar charging, and the ability to actually track and zoom in on suspects in real time, I’ll finally have peace of mind. No more guessing, no more “after the fact” footage. Just smart, reliable protection.
So, farewell Google Doorbell. Thank you for trying, but your watch has ended. I’m ready for the next level with the eufyCam S4—because my family, my home, and my peace of mind deserve the very best.
I’m excited to replace my Wyze Cam pan v2! The new Eufy cam S4 what do the job of three cameras by covering my driveway front gate and front door with one camera! Very excited for the opportunity to win one of these cameras and if not, I’ll buy one if I don’t win!
I currently have 4 Eufy 2C Pro cameras. And they have been great. Lately they are starting to not activate with any movement. I want to keep our home and my dogs safe. We live in area where we have some dangerous wildlife like Bobcats, mountain lions, coyotes and javelina. I would love to be able to track my dogs movement in the yard to ensure they are safe. There are so many areas that are not covered without placing a bunch of cameras around the yard. I currently have 3 in my backyard alone. Being able to have multiple angles with one camera would help tremendously.
Next on my list to replace is this knackered (and completely crumbling) Nest doorbell. No one ever rings the doorbell anyway, so it serves only as a security camera… but not well! And it looks horrible now. (Yes, that’s the actual glass of the camera crumbling away, not an third party protector peeling off!)
