I really want to upgrade to the S4. The camera is fixed in one place and can only look straight ahead. Although it works well in that position, it leaves a lot of blind spots. Because so many things happen at different angles, the fixed camera can no longer meet the needs. It’s time for a new generation of products to replace the old ones.

Goodbye, my old eufy buddy You’ve watched over my home through rain, snow, and the occasional spider photobomb
. But your picture’s getting a little fuzzy and your battery doesn’t last like it used to. Time to pass the torch to the shiny new eufyCam S4—with sharper eyes, more stamina, and even cooler tricks. Thanks for the memories, old friend!”
Bye Arlo ,things were good while they lasted. My first security system back when I bought my house in 2016. I kept upgrading until Arlo decided to make it difficult to store video locally and access local storage forcing longtime customers into subscriptions. I’ve slowly converted all my Arlo camera to Eufy. I love the Eufy Homebase and the way the difference models they offer have tracking which makes it possible to cover more area with one camera.
I am Eufy Cam poor. Just kidding…LOL I started off with two Ring cameras years ago and they were okay but I despised having to pay to see the footage. When my stepmother passed away back in Feb of 21, I purchased my first Eufy Homebase 2 and 3 Eufy Cam 2C’s to key an eye on her home until we could handle the estate sale. I am still using that set to this day at my own home. I have been so impressed with Eufy quality and innovation that I have since added numerous items from their product line. Customer service has been outstanding as well. Needless to say, I have my sights set on the new S4’s.
Goodbye, farewell, good riddance now get out! I got this night owl mess before i heard of Eufy… they are miserable to manage, i cant use the app for notifications as it cooks my phone! And viewing on the phone is al.ost impossible too!!! Now im replacing the siding, and its the perfect time to change out for the S4!!! I even got corner brackets in anticipation of mounting S4s!..as i can afford to.
Sing, O Muse of Eufy, of my weary old cam,
Whose lens grows dim and whose Wi-Fi falters like Achilles’ heel.
Each dawn it slumbers, batteries drained,
While raccoons wage epic wars upon my trash.
False alerts cry “Intruder!” when but leaves dance in the breeze,
And darkness veils the porch like Hades’ cloak.
Grant me the glory of the EufyCam S4,
Bright-eyed, tireless, and strong in signal.
Let it stream in 4K splendor, unblinking guardian of bins and mail.
Then shall I boast to neighbors and gods alike:
“Lo, my fortress stands eternal, secure, divine, and squirrel-free.”
I currently have several soloCam S220’s around my property. Although they have served me well. I would really like to have cameras that are capable of tracking. The soloCam S220’s have a static capturing area that may miss activity that is slightly out of their viewing area. Instead of purchasisng additional cameras with a static capture area, I would like to have cameras that would give me the ability to track and capture activity of a larger area..
For the past few years, I’ve had the clunky, minimal features, of the Google Nest outdoor cameras. They often have connectivity issues. The image quality of the cameras are fair at best and they often miss notifications for live events such as people or cars. I bought these products thinking that because it’s Google, it would be cutting edge. The sad part is that Google is so big that the right hand doesn’t seem to know what the left hand is doing. I’m needing quality products from a company that still has an interest in the voice of its customers. Eufy has surprised me! I now have a couple of indoor Eufy cameras and now their doorbell camera! Absolutely amazing. Superb quality both in hardware and software. I have decided to move on from my outdoor Google cameras and replace them with Eufy Cameras! My goal (dream) is to have a camera like the S4 on each corner of the home. I will be able to focus the stationary camera in such a way to maximize security while allowing the turret to catch movement that falls within or outside of that stationary view. I am often out of town leaving my wife and two small children at home by themselves and having a quality smart security setup is important to me. Even though Eufy is nowhere near as large of a company as Google, the quality of their products is far exceeding what Google is putting out there. David and Goliath kind of stuff! Kudos to Eufy for having integrity in the design and implementation of all their products!
To my Blink Indoor/Outdoor Camera and Security devices …Sayonara, Audios, Bye-bye, Ciao, So long, C-Ya Wouldn’t Wanna B-Ya, Hasta la Vista Baby. The time where short video captures, missed event recording detail, the struggle of keeping devices charged and connected, hard to access and always corrupted local recorded events are now nothing but a faded memory…and this is all made possible by Eufy’s One & Done Security Era with eufyCam S4! Eufy has nailed it when it comes to providing the best home security and surveillance devices that come with the best image quality with all the latest AI features all while making it easy to setup and maintain all my smart home integration and automation setup and configuration. I cannot wait to get my eufyCam S4 4-Cam kit setup and running. They will pair well with the many other Eufy Smart Home devices Eufy offers!
I have a very old security system. The cameras are not moveable so I only have the view within the current range of the camera. I like my eufy doorbell and I’m sure that the eufy cameras have more functions that what my current system offers. I think it would be great to be able see various directions to make sure my cows are where they should be
Farewell to my many camera products that I have been able to test over time! Unfortunately, I haven’t been lucky enough to be selected for a Eufy camera test via the JML platform… That’s why it would be really great if it worked out to test the latest flagship cam from Eufy. The capabilities of the new model seem to be extremely impressive and I would be very happy if I could try them .I was able to test the latest 360° Cam system from another manufacturer, but the S 4 with its 3 lenses is significantly superior to the other cams .With the set of 2 or 4 , I could probably monitor my entire property completely .
Hey, I’m stoked about upgrading from my Wyze indoor cam, which I’ve been using outside—big mistake! It’s not built for weather, and I’m tired of spotty performance. The EufyCam S4 sounds amazing with its dual lenses, crisp video, and AI smarts. No subscriptions, local storage, and long battery life? Count me in for this giveaway!
My backyard is basically a wildlife Netflix series—except my old Wyze outdoor and Eufy camera only records the season finale when something’s close for comfort. Time for an upgrade before Bigfoot makes another cameo I miss. #EufyUpgrade
I bought 5 of the s340, with the plan of keeping our house safe from the neighborhood kids also known as the local thieves in the area. They did the job after a year of use and the troublesome family next door moved away because the cops got involved not by my reporting but by our surroundings neighbors because they had dented cars and broken glass. The police noticed I had cameras and with luck we found of the problem children next to us were the problem. They were caught on camera using golf clubs hitting chunks of metal and debris. But unfortunately over the years I have had issues with the camera on the garage and the tree in the back and had to you use some of the extra cameras to replace them but not much time went by and both the replacements went out and would no longer turn. I reached out to eufy they said my cameras are out of warranty but they still covered me one last time regardless for which I am very greatful. But unfortunately the one over by the tree is doing the same thing again and won’t turn so the only option I have now tell I can buy a new one is just keep it up in that location recording one way only.
Good bye to my Logitech circle cams and doorbell camera. After so many missed incidents and more recently permanent power failure on some cameras and then connectivity issues with others I switched to the Eufy S3 pros with home base and immediately fell in love. Shortly after I added an indoor pet camera S350 and then a S340 for the backyard. Being a smart home and home security installer I have dealt with every brand you can think of and since switching to Eufy I have sold 2 more customers on it just by showing them the amazing picture quality and AI technology to boot!
Been a Nest user for almost 10 years. But with the Google take over years ago quality has gotten worse and annual subscription fees continue to climb. They now want $200 per year for cloud storage. Absolutely insane. I have 2 outdoor cams 1 flood light, a doorbell cam and few indoor cams. I am ready to make the swap and this would be a sweet way to start that change.
I’ve had a taste of Eufy with basic set up, it’s worked perfectly and more than I need…. But now I want more……
I love my Eufy cam and door lock. My current camera works great for seeing when I have a visitor. The Eufy smart door lock is great for young ones to use a pin to get in the house. An upgrade to the newer eufyCam S4 security system with its newest technology would have a tremendous relief for the safety of my family.
I have the same issue, I wish I could have the new S40 camera so it will cover better
