We went from Ring to Eufy and never looked back. We use both the S330 (x2) and the S340 (x2) with the E340 covering the front door linked with the E340 lock. Within days of installing the S340 we actually “caught” someone jumping our fence to steal bottles. My only complaint was the person moved faster then the camera tracking and only caught the start and the end and not him jumping over the fence. I have total trust and respect I Eufy and what they provide
I would like to upgrade to eufycam s4 because my 2c no longer holds its charge for long especially when there are plants and shadows in its view. A couple of the oldest 2c cameras I have only lasted a week because the plants were moving a lot in the wind. At least, it did recognize it was a motion that needed an alert notification otherwise my phone would’ve been constantly buzzing. But unfortunately the cameras recently have been notifying me that a rock is a pet. Also the FOV is not wide or long enough and there were a couple times I couldn’t tell what a person was doing because they were just slightly out of the FOV. RIP 2c; sorry, it’s time for an upgrade.
Time to say goodbye to my 1st generation blink camera. I would like to upgrade to eufycam s4 because blink cannot connect to live stream quick enough, long notifications delay, doesn’t have 27/4 recording, quality is not good, and no AI detection. I have to switch batteries every year when I use blink camera. I guess it’s time to say goodbye blink. However, one thing I like about this blink camera is small. Anyway, I wish can i can get a eufycam s4. I heard they got better quality, tracking, AI, solar panel, etc. keep it up eufy!
Farewell to the Old Guards!
Here are the old security team: the SoloCam E340, eufyCam S3 Pro, and E340 Floodlight Camera. I need three separate cameras just for this porch! I want the eufyCam S4 Bullet-PTZ to consolidate them all. Its dual-lens design gives me 360-degree coverage, auto-zoom and tracking in HD, and smarter alerts from a single, seamless Hybrid Security device.
Thinking it’s finally time to retire my old Ring camera and move up to the new EufyCam S4. This poor lizard showed up the other night and the footage looks like it was filmed on a potato. He deserves to be seen in full HD glory — not like a ghost from the 90s.

The picture below pretty much says it all — this poor little lizard showed up the other night, and the video quality looks like it was recorded through a foggy window from 1998. He deserves better. If he’s going to strike a pose on my porch, he should at least be seen in HD clarity. Honestly, I think he’s offended by how pixelated he looks. So, for both our sakes, an upgrade is coming soon.
We love your eufy cam, it has kept my grandma’s mind free of worry. Gave her one and it has made her feel safer. Image quality and tracking are perfect!

Meet my friend, the eufy Floodlight Cam E 2K (affectionately named Earl) model T8422. Earl’s served us faithfully for years. Yes, he’s a little outdated with his 2k resolution, but when he was born, 2k was top notch. I know he’s getting old since all his internal memory doesn’t work anymore. But despite being older, he’s still on duty. A dedicated sentry protecting us.
Now there’s a new kid in town, the eufyCam S4 camera. The S4 brings a 4k fixed camera that surpasses Earl’s slightly blurry vision and failing memory. The S4 also has the power to multitask with an additional 3k PTZ camera. The S4 would be a welcome addition to allow us to celebrate Earl’s retirement.
Been a happy Eufy customer since the beginning (See the Gen 1 on the left). This is my solution to the problem when the pan tilt follow one person away from my truck in the drive but there is still another near my truck. I would love to try out the new S4 that solves this issue in one camera.
Eufy SoloCam S340 Solar Wireless Outdoor Security Camera
I currently have two S340 cameras installed. One of them is mounted with a bracket to the gutter above my porch entrance, giving me a solid view of the approach. It covers part of the walkway and driveway, but with the new eufyCam S4, the coverage would be far greater.
With its bullet-PTZ design, the S4 could cover the full length of the walkway, a much larger portion of the driveway, and even extend into the garden. The auto-zoom, HD tracking, and smarter alerts would really enhance security compared to what I have now. I only wish this design had been available sooner!

I am replacing my old Ring cameras with Eufy. We are ready for more advanced technology. Eufy’s Cameras offer 360 tracking and dual lense cameras. The zoom feature is great. I love the integrated solar panels too!! The Combo Smart Lock/Door Camera just makes sense. Eufy is compatible with my Google Mesh/Nest system. The design is clean and modern.

Thanks for coming into my life. I needed a hero, someone to watch over me and to protect me so that I can feel safe and secure in my home. Our dear old friend has been a good camera but with age has reached the point in life where it needs to retire. I’m truly thankful for the loyalty old cam. You’ve been a good friend. And we’ll never forget you. But it’s time for a fresh new outlook. Love and peace to you. Always.
The S340 has been amazing! But has limited capabilities, its not 24/7 and its not 4k. The S4 meets all the great qualities of the s340 + the it has the abilities to record 24/7. In my opinion 24/7 recording will be always be superior. Sometimes the s340 detection just doesn’t cut it out and may miss some important moments. Also the s340nis great but its 3k camera makes it hard to read license plates. In my opinion that is a pro that the s4 can fix. It has the capability to zoom in with more details and catch the small details !!!. The S4 just seems like a no brainer with all pros and no cons
I’m a newcomer to the Eufy game, but I must say, Eufy is an excellent security camera! I currently have just one S340, and I absolutely love it! This morning, I managed to catch my creepy Nextdoor neighbor who shouldn’t have had a key entering my garage. I’ll upload the footage so you can see it. I just need a home base and a S4 to record 24/7 and see what transpired after he entered my garage. Please consider me for a new S4! Thank you, Eufy!
