Hats off (I think) to Eufy.

Up until Dec 2024, our 2K Doorbell never used to work with Alexa ‘Routines’ (despite being supposed to).

Since (presumably) the recent update, we can now get notified of external motion on Alexa which in turn, the routine can turn on the lights!

Great improvement- thank you!

EDIT (27 Jan 2025):
2 steps forward…in that it triggers an Alexa routine
1 step backward…in that the Alexa routine ONLY switches on lights and specific announcements provided that Alexa is the current open/on App on my iPhone.

Please go figure and sort that one out Eufy tech team!

@jd164 - think it has happened automatically.

While it has ‘started’ working, it is inconsistent in that sometimes the motion is detected and as normal, is announced by Alexa….but the routine doesn’t run.

Other times, the full routine (turning lights on follows)!
