HELP! My wired dual camera video doorbell went offline sometime early this week. Why? Who knows! It was probably a day or so before I realized it. So I reset the video camera, reconnected it to my Homebase 3, reconnected Ethernet to the base so it was receiving signal. Basically, I set up everything that I had before camera went offline. But now the alarm won’t sound when motion is detected. I do get app notifications, but no alarm. Any advice beyond contact support? I did that! I was told to do what I’ve already done. Thanks in advance for any help.
There are lots bugs coming with the new eufy app, all my outdoor cameras are now dead, after removed they all can’t re-add to the app…hope they will fix ASAP.
Try to turn off the alarm speaker volume toogle on and off for several times in between waiting for 1 minute interval trying to reset the alarm settings.
My dual camera doorbell went offline as well. Try to remove and reset. It does not reset. Now, I’m without a doorbell. Same goes to my outdoor cam pro.
Unplug the home base for a couple minutes and then plug back in to power cycle it. I find that helps with a lot of different issues
This generation is BOLD. You come in my yard without my permission ALL bets are off.
Maybe it’s unchecked in the mode settings, Home or Away.
Tap on the Smart tab and then the Device Doorbell.
Tap on the cogwheel for Home.
You should see an option: when motion is detected turn on siren.
That would make the HomeBase siren turn on.
Huge thank you! Your suggestion solved the problem! Have a great week!
Thank you to all that replied. After deleting camera from app, adding it back, and clicking Homebase alarm in mode settings things seem to be back in working order!
