Hi all. I’m considering the purchase of a Homebase 3, but I’m on the fence about it. What are the major advantages in your experience?
I have one camera location I’d like to use, but it’s just outside the fringe of my wifi router’s signal. Would you say the Homebase 3 might offer a chance of better range?
Looking for any of your favorite features.

The main thing is that I don’t have to pay for cloud storage anymore, and I can review many past clips anytime. Also, thanks to HB3, my cross-camera tracking is working very smoothly now lol. 
I have 3-300 cameras, 2-pro2c and 2-2c cameras. I was told they would all work well with the Home-based 3. I have not been able to sync any of them, or get the sensors to trigger for recording inspite of adjusting the cameras target areas. Guess mixing the cameras is not the thing to do
Having a hard drive to record and save events and since I had to disconnect my existing chime, the home base 3 is now my door chime.
I have no issues with range and I have a lot of eufy products installed along with many wifi devices. No cloud storage needed, AI is great
It’s much faster to access the videos or the camera directly. Before attaching hb3 it would take 4x as long to retrieve videos or connect to camera directly. I’m using wifi to homebase and then to camera attached to homebase wifi. You must remove your existing wifi from cameras if I stalled then have hb3 find them. Document was fairly poor In This respect.
Did you remove the cameras from your wifi and then have hb3 find them? Documentation is poor at best on this.

Yea, I’m currently using my cameras over my home wifi. It’s my hope that a Homebase 3 will make that function a little more smoothly. I also like the idea that videos will be stored in the house in case something happens to the camera.
I appreciate all the comments. I wonder if there are any deals coming up. Still thinking about whether to buy or just keep my current cameras running on my wifi alone.
Yes it makes accessing the cameras much faster.
Think I got mine on sale for 50$ off. Just a few dayscago. Think it was 100 dollars.
Just for the speed at which i can access the camera or stored video makes the hb3 worth the money spent. 
it’s 3x faster to access. Now instead of a message saying decrypting files for 10 seconds it only takes 2 or 3.
