Im new to this system , and cant seem to get the new drive to format.
Has anybody else had this issue ?
O have tried two different 1tb drives .
That’s weird… That two different hard drives will not format?
Do you have the capability to see if you can format them on a PC? Just to check to see if it will.
What name brand hard drives are they?
Could be that something is wrong with the home base.
So the first one appears to have had an issue , the second failed first time , so reformatted to the new fat32 , the home base excepted that first time of asking , so im wondering is there a preference to the format type , that the home base uses.
Not for me now , but may help others going forward.

So I believed that I had this sorted, the drive was working fine and showing it was recording to it.
But now it says it needs reformatting.
The home base works fine with no drive in & was working fine with the drive in but now its still working but not recording to the drive . Any advice would be helpful
I can help you what harddrive do you have now? And is it a ssd harddrive or a hdd? Please let me now thanks
