HomeBase S380

I am trying to connect Base via Wifi - is this possible? It seems I can only connect it via Ethernet Cable.. I tried removing the cable and seeing if i can connect via Wifi, but i wasnt able to do it via Settings in the App.

What Homebase do you have. I think anything below 3 can connect via wifi

:white_check_mark: HomeBase 3 Wi‑Fi Connectivity

  • Firmware requirement : Your HomeBase 3 needs to be on v3.1.5.1 or later (check in the app under Settings → General → About Device → Check for firmware update ).

  • Initial Ethernet setup needed: You must connect the HomeBase 3 via Ethernet for the initial setup. After that, you can access Settings → General → Connection → Wi‑Fi Setup to switch it to your 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network. ()

Thank you @sha20220 - i have HomeBase 3 and you are correct - i was able to do it in the end. I did log a ticket with support and i was told the following (pretty much what you just said - thank you).

The HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3) does support switching to a Wi-Fi connection after the initial setup. During the setup process, it must be connected to your router via an Ethernet cable. Once the setup is complete, you can switch to Wi-Fi by navigating to the app under HomeBase Settings > General > About Device > Connection > Wi-Fi Setup . Ensure that the firmware version is updated to v3.1.5.1 or above to enable this feature.*

No probs
