I have set up a kit of 2 camera 2C with solar panel and one Homebase 2. I bought this set to have it working with HomeKit Secure Video.
My iCloud+ allows for only one camera to be recorded. So the other must be manually activated when living home to record and notify. That’s OK.
HomeKit is able to automatically change the state of the managed camera when leaving home.
The problem is that the camera set up to record through HomeKit Secure Video must have detection enabled for HomeKit to work. So we get a bunch of notification and recording which are annoying and consume battery.
I want to disable notification and recording from the eufy app for this camera, while keeping HomeKit ability to analyse video from it and automatically start notifying and recording when leaving home.
I can’t find the right settings, any thoughts ?
