I don’t understand when my solar wall security cameras say low battery and need to be charged. They are installed high on my house, and it makes no sense to have to take them down to recharge. Please help me understand this.
is it getting direct sunlight?? if not, that’s the problem.
The temperature can also affect charging.
Charging temperature is 0℃~45℃ / 32°F~113°F. If the temperature is lower or higher than this range, battery cannot be charged.
Charging temperature is such a significant factor for my cameras right now. This winter weather has been brutal!
One of my cams also does this. I can lean out window a d charge it but its annoying
Sun angle? I have 3 different cameras on solar panels and i can reach them to move the panels for optimal sun each one works better at different times of the year again Sun angle but still take a little charge even if not direct sunlight but full sun is the best
Are they new?
Have they ever charged from solar?
In the app go to settings for the camera and look at “power settings” there should be a “Solar Dashboard” (it’s in different spots depending on what cam). If its never received a charge it could not be in a good location or a faulty unit.
