I have an S340. When a security alarm goes off, it uses the same notifications that are built into the iPhone, which means that I get the same ding as I would for a text message. This makes it difficult to distinguish between a security alert and a text message, especially in the middle of the night. Is there a way to modify the notifications I was told by Apple that it has to be done by the app developer they definitely need to add customized notifications for their alarms. In addition they also need to add Geo fencing to the S340

But to do you get sirens on cameras going off? Or you want a better notification on your phone so you could react differently if you’re not at home? iPhone in this sense is very limited, I’d recommend exploring Home Assistant as an extra layer. It can send notifications and I’m sure it has eufy integration available. And it’s free 
Both. my camera is in the front and my bedroom in the rear of the house. The siren doesn’t have enough volume to wake me from a sound sleep
why have the notification same as a text message or the other dull iPhone notification sounds

Apple says the notifications on iPhone cannot be customized like a ring tone. This is a substantial lack of features for Eufy.
Are you saying, the eufy app for Apple iOS doesn’t have notification sound options you can choose from within the app??
If that’s true I would think other folks would be complaining about this…
Look in your camera settings for notifications..
I’ve been through that dozens of times. Look at the notification sound you have selected. “Ding”. His going to wake up with that? The other choices under notification sounds are equally useless.
They should be complaining. Are you able to customize the tone other than the simple and quiet Apple like sounds?.

Someone said they can do it on Android but you can’t on iPhone.
These app alert tones are quite and similar to iPhone text tones. You can’t tell the difference without waking up and looking at the alert message.
I want an app siren, klaxon, submarine dive-dive or something completely distinct from the standard iPhone tones.
I have no interest in purchasing an add on device to do what the app should do.
In addition it needs geofencing. I want it active all the time so when I go town shopping it automatically switches to “away”. Scheduling is too limited to certain times of the day and manually switching is a pain.
The Eufy on my boat has geofencing. Why shouldn’t this model have it as well?
