I'm not sure wh

I’m not sure why but recently my cross-camera tracking videos and some of my videos in general are being cut short with entire events being missed completely. Neither camera focused on the front yard picked up the driver as he approached and then cut out before he was out of frame. I’ll try to play around with the settings later.

Have you got the cameras set to battery optimisation? This will reduce the recording time

I have found that as my hard drive gets full the recordings aren’t as smooth and are more glitchy. I know they overwrite other videos when they get full but I clear them instead and it seems to help. Not sure if you have a hard drive or using the HB built in storage.

Try a hard reboot of the camera, clear disk storage, remove from WiFi / Homebase then pair again

Try restarting your router (unplug from the mains for a minute then plug back in)
good luck

Thank you all for your responses. After troubleshooting the camera and failing to correct the issue Eufy went forward with a warranty exchange. Thank you again for your help.

I had a feeling it wasnt a settings issue because I have another S340 with the same set up and sun exposure on the same wall approximately 40 feet away. Its to help monitor the blind spots just outside this camera’s FOV. Other than a loose wire or necessary reset, there wasn’t anything unique to this camera.

How’s your wifi signal around your home? If you are at the limits of signal strength you might end up seeing issues like this as the system will be sending and receiving data much slower than normal, which ofcourse already has a slight delay due to the nature of RF.

Strange
