Indoor Cam. Through Window?

Hi everyone. I want to set up a camera looking straight out of a window. It will be about a metre behind the window. Will the vision be OK, or will I just get reflections? I only need it to work at night.

I am looking at the eufy Security 2K Indoor Camera or Indoor Cam 2K Pan and Tilt.

Thanks.

If you’re pointing a Eufy 2K Indoor Cam out a window at night, you’ll likely get strong reflections from the built-in IR LEDs. To improve results, you can disable the IR night vision and use a motion light outside. Also, place the camera as close to the glass as you can to reduce glare.

You will definitely just get reflection unfortunately

Yes you will get a reflection. Can you set the camera on some sort of bracket and hanger you can hang out the window temporarily and bring back in when you don’t need it ? Or even just mount the provided bracket and remove it in the morning if you can reach it from the open window most cameras have a nut so you can remove it easily without having to unscrew the bracket
