When the video doorbell is rung, the indoor chime box doesn’t always ring; I only am notified by the phone app. Might it be because I have the chime box plugged into a power strip rather than a wall socket? (TIA.)

The power strip wouldn’t affect the chime box, see if plugging the chime box closer to the doorbell solves the issue.

Don’t know how to do that, don’t see a setting for that in the app.

If all setting is correct and it still have problem, you try to reinstall or reset it.

Sorry, I can’t find where to do the setting or re-setting of the doorbell chime, I assume it’s somewhere in the phone app but don’t see it.
