I still think the app is not the best when it comes to administration - too many layers, levels and sometimes I’m going in circles trying to locate a setting. UX-wise it’s ok, but it doesn’t feel like something special. I’m still very happy you’re giving some love and not abandoning.
Do I need to download this app I’ve just started with video doorbell 2 weeks ago ??
App is messy, no simple functions like turning off sirens on camera. Makes it a public nuisance and now having to turn off alarm system due to neighborhood complaints
Why is my dual camera doorbell so useless? We’ve had a Postie who isn’t following my delivery preferences. I’m disabled so rely upon speaking to them via the doorbell to put parcels in a secure box.
But it took so long to access the camera via the app on my phone he’d gone back to his van. Then I was shouting “Hello?”, which I could hear repeating a few seconds later outside, for a good 2-3 minutes.
He returned to put that red note through the letterbox, but for some reason the mic no longer worked. Just when I blooming needed it!
I restarted the app tried again and could hear my voice repeating outside, but of course he’d gone.
There’s good WiFi coverage inside the house. The Alexa coverage is perfect. So there’s no reason the app shouldn’t connect seamlessly. And even the Homebase 2 is only a few metres from the doorbell.
What’s the point of this expensive device if it only works intermittently?!?!?
Oh and the doorbell is wired. So it’s not a power problem.

When can we integrate Eufy products with other smart home systems, like Home Assistant, for getting events from and sending events to Eufy devices?
We missing ability to automate things in together with Eufy as part of bigger ecosystem, as Eufy has very small range of products. We need like 10x capabilities of home automation from what’s available now.

Unable to connect to wifi. It disconnected automatically 3 days ago. I tried to re-connect it to the wifi. It says “connected”, but then is still offline. I have two of them, the other one has always been inside my house, the broken one outside. Guess why the broken one is broken…
