My camera keeps going off all night long because it’s detecting people driving by. these people driving by are well outside the set activities owns. it only happens at night. if I move the border of the activities on any closer I won’t be able to get certain things that I would like the camera to go off for if there’s motion there. is there any way to stop the camera from picking up headlights from people driving by? I believe the cameras detecting the headlights when they come into the activities zone but I’m not 100% sure. thanks in advance for any and all help with this!
Try unclicking vehicles, just leave humans. Worked for me with s3 pro. I had tried everything, only just got it.
For each camera, you should be able to choose the sensitivity of captures from 1 to 7,with 7 being capturing everything.
Yeah, try at @dco322 said. It may not be the headlights themselves but the shadow movement they are casting onto the ground the camera is picking up.
Mine does that always at night picks up cars but not at all in the day, strange for me as well. And like you say they are out of the activity zone as well.
I have same issue. It’s like the zones are completely ignored at night.
Facts. Exactly what I was thinking also. I’ve played with the sensitivity and that doesn’t help whatsoever. I’ve played with the activity zones also and no luck there either. I really don’t want to move the camera because it’s in the only spot I can put it to be able to see everything I want / need to see. If I move the camera there would end up being 3 thing’s (the 3 main things) that I absolutely want on camera. I can’t move the activity zones either because if I do the camera won’t go off at all. I literally feel like I’m out of options on a way to prevent this from happening all together or at least make it so it doesn’t pick up every single shadow (or headlights / taillights) that set it off like what’s been happening every night since I put the camera up. It’s extremely annoying and I’m getting frustrated that I can’t figure out how to fix this.
Thanks everybody for the input. I have played with the sensitivity and the activities owns and have an absolutely no luck with resolving my issue. It only happens at night. I can’t move the activities zones or sensitivity you need more with all the camera either going off like crazy or not going off at all. I just wish there was a way to make it so it doesn’t go off as many times while I’m sleeping two vehicles driving by. Or a way to prevent it from happening whatsoever. I cannot move the camera and put it in a different location because they’ll be three things that I absolutely want on camera would not be on camera at that point. I just feel like I’m out of options and there’s no way to stop it from happening now. Frustrating… :(. Other than that the camera works awesome and I’m extremely happy with it
Maybe aim camera lower?
Mines been doing the same thing only at night. I set the detect area away from the road and will hope it helps.
Turn motion off. Detect human on
I’ve too had these issues
If I aim the camera any lower I won’t be able to see what I want to see at all. I may just end up moving it and trying another spot out that I have in mind. I just didn’t really want to move it all around, but I guess it’s a matter of trial and error.
Thank you for the help everyone!! I’ve tried everything people have said and some of it has helped a little (hasn’t totally taken care of the issue). It’s definitely an improvement
