Name each camera so notifications say e.g. Front Door, Garage etc.

I have five 2C Pro Cameras and tried to name each camera’s notification by a voice file .m4a on my Samsung S25 phone. I do one camera and add under “eufy motion” e.g. “Front Door”. Then I do the garage camera “eufy motion” e.g. “Garage”, now the front door will stay “Garage” when activated. It seems to use the last file added. Trying to get each camera to use the voice file for its location. The "Notification Categories " has two “eufy motion” (don’t know why two) regardless I entered its location in both options. Anyone tried this and get it to work?

Hmmm.
Don’t have an issue adding my own sounds to individual cameras.
The difficult part is determining which eufy motion is for that specific camera, each camera will have its own eufy motion.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I can’t get past two cameras for “eufy motion”. Tried and it won’t add a third eufy motion to get the custom alert. Maybe the problem is S220 homebase 2.

I don’t know, I’m not using a HomeBase.
I have six cameras and not all of them show up on the notification settings list, but they eventually do..
Also, sometimes they disappear from the notification list.

I don’t know if this is the answer, but go into each cameras General settings and you can set the name of your camera there. I could not find a location where you can change all the camera names in one place. so, on your main screen select the camera, then settings, then General, and select name then type what you want it called and save.

I wish I could have customized alerts. I’m stuck with the few Eufy has in the app and only the default one on iPhone. With as many cameras and sensors I have. I’ve suggested to eufy to add more as many others have but they don’t now that’s a app update I would support. A customer of mine with a ring camera has a turkey gobble it freaked me out the first time I heard her phone do it when I had her phone programming some light switches to another app for her.
