Hi
I‘m using 5 Solo S340, two of them are with an activity area because of the public area in front of the cam. I‘ve editet the area several times and made it smaller and smaller, but the cam is still making Videos from people in the public area.
I‘ve made some Screenshots from the activity Area and the Videos.
What can I do make the activity Area working correctly.
Hi, your activity zones look fine, I’m amazed that it’s still picking up people walking that far out of the zone.
Have you tried lowering the Sensitivity?
Lower it until it stops picking people up out of the zone, then later you can try increasing the activity zone larger.
hi JD,
I‘ve loseres the sensitivity from 2 to 1, bit the camera is still packung up people.
Strange! I assume you tap save after your done setting them up each time but that would be my only guess
hi eric, wien decreasing the sensitivity you don‘t habe a „save button“
I’m referring to the save button after setting up the active zone ![]()
try deleting the zones and set them up again making sure to save each time before exiting
good luck
Deleting the zones and setting them Up again doesn’t work.
I also have this issue. It tends to increase on clear days.
Backyard Camera Activity Zone
Detection on Level 3 sensitivity
Front Camera Activity Zone
Detection on Level 6 sensitivity
Detections
Has this been resolved? I have the same problem - no matter what I do, activity well outside of the activity zone triggers detection.
It won’t get resolved. Eufy tend to ignore or simply cease to make the necessary adjustment/improvements to their software.
They just bring out a new camera with the same issues
I think I’ve found the issue. I had 2 default camera positions set up. The activity zone was set for the position that I wasn’t using and therefore I had no zone set for the one that was in use.
So you can have multiple default positions but you must set an activity zone for each of them. Seems to be working fine since as I see folks walking past that would have been picked up before.
Thats great if it works. I wonder what my problem is with my two S340 cameras
i‘ve bad a look at the 4 positions, them all show the same activity region
You should also look at your app in the S340 Detection Range settings. Your Out of view Detection may Be set and the Detection Range can be set near or far, changing it to near might help as well. You can also use the test mode and go in front of the camera to see how far and where it detects you.
