Problem with the Eufy app/recording

Hello - The Eufy app stops recording when I close the app or switch to different app. Any idea what the problem might be? I signed up for cloud space though not sure that I’m connected to the cloud. When I go to “continuous recording” it won’t let me turn continuous recording on. When I go to storage - could back up, it asks me to sign up for another plan instead of allowing me to connect to the cloud I already paid for.
