S3 Pro - Multi-Bridge Settings

Hello Eufy gurus!

Has anybody successfully configured your multi-bridge on your S3 Pro? I configured the wi-fi which is on the same network as my HB3 (But ethernet connected) and my wi-fi network saves, but after a few hours I see Eufy_CE7431 as my multibridge?

Do I need to configure something on the HB3?

Thanks all

Hi, when the signal between the camera and router is weak, the camera will automatically switch to the Homebase3’s Wi-Fi. I suggest you shorten the distance between the camera and the router.

Hi, I don’t think you understand my question? The S3 Pro is around 10 feet away from my HB3 which is not far. What I’m saying is why does the S3 Pro allow me to configure my wifi network, but then I check later it says Eufy_CE7431?

Are you saying that the router itself it not close enough? The router itself is around 2 foot away from the camera!

Hi @s887, I had similar and it kept wiping it out. It worked eventually but I had to force close the app and start the process again, and space out the timings between the camera’s I was changing it on.
I got it to work and hold the config, but I think more through luck than a defined process. Personally I think its probably worth raising a ticket with Eufy Support.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. This is how the Multi-Bridge will work: on this page, you can configure the Wi-Fi network. The system will search for the best Wi-Fi point from the router and Homebase3.

For your case, since your camera is very close to the router, it should connect to the router instead of Homebase3. However, your camera is eventually connecting to Homebase3. After double-checking with the engineering team, we’ll fix this issue.

Question: I thought the HomeBase3’s Multi-Bridge prompt only shows up when the HB3 decides that the Wi-Fi link/connection between the camera and HB3 are weak.

Hey, it’s not. The Multi-Bridge feature is a pre-configuration; once it’s activated, it’ll always be there. Please upgrade to the latest version of the app and firmware.
