I’m agreeing with all this people that mentioned, that the main reason for switching from the competition to Eufy, was exactly the fact that we had more freedom using a local storage, instead of worrying about another subscription.
You should know that the same way you were able to convince hundreds of thousands to switch to your devices and services, providing more freedom, you could easily lose them the same way?!

I don’t see where I can access my cloud storage. Also if a video is erased accidentally on local storage is it kept on the cloud as a back up?

I only purchased Eufy for the local storage as well. Had to get cloud just to see the videos and cameras in another city. All this stuff is beginning to become garbage. I get notifications that I have like 50 notifications and only see 1 video. I have over a $1000 in Eufy products, pay $5.99 for ONly 2 cameras to have cloud and my home/storage has been broken into like 3 times and cameras didn’t even pick up. Looking into other options and selling this Eufy crap to the highest bidder. So many issues. Have 2 home base and I don’t even know why. :joy:

And probably the only reason i think is really important, if someone enters and find your local storage, he takes it and all the video records that could have been used as proof disappear… am i wrong?

What is the purpose of leaving comments on this when we have issues? Can talk directly with a customer service agent which is ridiculous! When you reach out to them, it says they will contact you via email in the next up coming days. You can’t get an answer right away? Technology was implemented to make our lives easier. Yet it does not. It makes our lives more complicated, stressful and open to criminals doing damage to you or stealing your data. These security cameras, no matter the brand, can be useless when a criminal has a WiFi jammer or a number of other devices that are easily obtain on the dark web or the streets. The best way to go with these cameras are obtaining the ones that don’t utilize WiFi and do not have infrared technology. Essentially, trail cameras. Also, change your router settings from WPAS 1 to WPAS 3. More secure. Also, if anyone is in your home, and they have access to your router, the button that is on that router, they can press on it and connect without you knowing. Meaning, they have access to your devices and they can control them. So, change the router user name and password. Don’t have it out in the open where others can access it. Change your WiFi network name and password periodically. If you can hide the network name, do so. Download app from app stores called who’s on my WiFi or other similar apps that check to see what devices are connected to your WiFi. You will need to know all the IP addresses of all the devices you have connected to your WiFi. Such as your cell phones, laptops, desktops, each security cameras, printer, router, smart speakers etc. Do research on other ways to protect yourselves. You can find videos on you tube. Don’t believe anything on the first two pages of your googled results. Look at other search engines as well. By the way, all, your dead bolts, door handle locks are deemed useless. You tube will show you how easy it is to break into anything. Purchase dead bolts that are marked non pickable, non bumpable. They are more expensive, but worth it. Any combination locks, useless. Pad locks, unless you know it said non pickable, useless. Ring cameras about the number one most hackable security camera. Any cameras with the QR code on it, the criminals can scan it to Hijacker that or those cameras. Also, do not have any financial apps on your devices. Delete them. If you need to utilize one, re download the app. Your user name and password will always be on that app. When you are done using, delete again. Reboot your devices every night or day. If there is a hacker on it, it will kick them off your system. If your device is acting funny, reboot/restart that device. I hope all this helps you all. Godspeed
