so do these devices not allow continuous live or am I doing something wrong? and do we always have to enter a password to view!

Mine works fine.
If you click on the “Device” instead of the events, you can see a live view.
And I belive there is a setting in either the app, or your phone, that will allow you to stay signed in to Eufy, so that you don’t need to enter your password every time you open the app
