Hi all, just installed my first SoloCam S220.
I already have a wall light cam S100, indoor S350 and a doorbell E340.
The only device that triggers a notification on my phone is the doorbell e340 when someone presses the doorbell. All the other devices do record when triggered, but they don’t send a notification. Now I have installed the new SoloCam S220 I can’t find how to turn off notifications. The only way I can find is to disable motion detection completely.
Now I have noticed every device has his own menu setup so hopefully I’m looking in the wrong place.
Any suggestions to keep motion detection on (and recording) with the SoloCam S220, but turn off notifications like I have done with all the other cameras?
It’s confusing, for all camera’s I was using I can select/deselect the push notification option in the settings menu of the camera. In this case, with the SoloCam S220, it’s only possible using ‘safety mode’ (such as Home or Away mode).
I needed to follow these steps;
- Go to the Smart tab at the bottom of the eufy app page.
- Go to ‘device control’
- Tap on Homebase3
- Select ‘edit’ current safety mode (such as Home or Away mode).
There I could deselect the push notification option for the SoloCam S220 (and other camera’s).
I’m glad everything works, but it’s not a really easy thing to do. Maybe the team watching over usability (UX) could take a look at this? It would by nice to streamline this ‘edit flow’ for each camera/device.
