Hi All, I bought a Solocam s340 a couple of weeks ago and it was great but has now stopped working and is unresponsive. There is no LED at all and it will not reset when holding the sync button for more than 8 seconds. I have had it on charge now for a day and nothing.
Found the problem. The manual that comes with the camera said that a reset could be carried out by holding the sync button for more that 8 seconds. However, the support menu states this to be 15 seconds. It is actually quite difficult to hold the button pressed for 15 seconds but eventually managed it and the unit beeped and came back into life. Had to go back through reconnection, but all good now.
I’m not really sure what caused the problem. Initially I assumed the solar panel had not managed to charge the battery enough, but not sure this was the case. I wasn’t aware of any software update, but if it did occur then perhaps that triggered the need for a reset.
