SoloCam S340 not charging with using a Battery Pack

I have a SoloCam S340 that is attached to a Eufy Solar Panel. It faces East and with the winter months does not get a lot of sunlight. Luckily, I can access the Solar Panel’s connection and attach a Battery Pack which will charge the unit when it is in the mood. Sadly it is not a plug and play activity as one would expect. The system, at times, will not take the charge. I have turned the Camera Off/On and that has worked once an a while but not always.

Any insight on improving the charging activity is appreciated.

Mine faces East but I have been able to tilt it so it is partially South East. In the winter I lower the settings and switch off the dual camera setting. It keeps it to around 70% charge through the UK winter

You’d have to try to angle the solar panel more towards where you’re getting the most sun or remove the panel only to a more sun exposed area.
