Using Homebase 2 with a Network Switch?

Has anyone successfully used a Homebase 2 (EufyCam 2c Pro) with a network router? I have pretty poor home WiFi coverage at home so I want to place a Homebase 2 close to the cameras BUT I would like to connect the Homebase 2 to my router using a network cable rather than rely on WiFi.

Using a network switch already installed over half way between my router and where I’d like to place the Homebase 2 seems like a good idea but will it work?

Yes, as long as the switch is unmanaged, you should be fine.

I have also had confirmation from Eufy Support that this should work OK so just need to decide whether to buy this brand or another - such mixed reviews of all makes!
